Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Creative Hub, a marketplace where creators host portfolios, sell digital assets, and take paid ad campaigns from brands. By using the site you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Creative Hub provides the platform. Creators are independent sellers: the creator, not Creative Hub, is the seller of every digital asset listed on a storefront. We process payments, deliver files, and provide tools for refunds and support.

2. Creator accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract in Nigeria.
  • You are responsible for your account, your password, and everything done under it.
  • Your username becomes your public storefront link. We may remove usernames that impersonate others or infringe trademarks.
  • To receive payouts you must connect a Nigerian bank account in your own name or your registered business name. We verify account details through Paystack.

3. Buying digital assets

  • No account is needed to buy. You provide an email address, pay in Nigerian naira through Paystack, and receive a download on screen and by email.
  • Prices are shown in naira and include everything you pay at checkout. Any platform fee is taken from the creator’s share and never added to your price.
  • Download links are time-limited (1 hour). If one expires, open your order page again to get a fresh link. Keep your order reference; it also lets you get help later.
  • Use the email address you can access: the delivery email and any refund updates are sent there.

4. Licence and intellectual property

Unless the creator states otherwise on the product page, buying an asset gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it in your own projects, including commercial projects. You may not resell, redistribute, share, or upload the asset itself (or a repackaged version) anywhere, including other marketplaces and file-sharing sites.

Creators keep ownership of their work. By listing content, a creator grants Creative Hub a licence to host it and display previews so it can be sold, and confirms they own it or have the right to sell it.

5. Refund policy for digital assets

Digital files cannot be returned once delivered, so purchases are generally final. You can ask for a refund within 7 days of purchase if:

  • the file could not be delivered or downloaded,
  • the file is corrupted or does not open, or
  • the asset is materially different from its description or preview.

Refunds are not available because you changed your mind, bought by mistake, or the asset does not suit your project, unless the creator chooses to approve it.

To ask for a refund, use the refund request form with your order reference and the email you bought with. The creator reviews every request. If it is approved, the full amount is refunded to your original payment method through Paystack, which usually takes 5 to 10 business days. If it is declined, you will receive the reason by email.

6. Ad campaigns

Brands (advertisers) can post a campaign describing the videos they need. No account is needed.

  • To publish a campaign the brand pays a posting deposit equal to 20% of the budget. This deposit is our commission for the campaign.
  • If nobody applies within 48 hours of the campaign going live, the deposit is refunded automatically. A brand may also cancel for a refund while nobody has applied. Once a creator has applied the deposit is not refundable.
  • Creators apply and the brand chooses one creator. We do not hold the rest of the money: the brand pays the remaining 80% directly to the chosen creator through Paystack.
  • The creator sends a preview of the work (watermarked or low quality) and keeps the final files private. We check the preview against the brand’s brief before the brand sees it.
  • The brand reviews the preview within 72 hours and may accept it or ask for up to two changes that the brief covers. If the brand does not respond, the preview counts as accepted. Where the brand and creator disagree, we decide whether the brief was met.
  • After the preview is accepted the brand pays the remaining amount within 7 days. The brand receives the final files only once that payment is confirmed, and the creator then posts on their own page and uploads proof of the post.
  • A creator who misses a deadline receives a strike, and with two strikes can no longer apply. A creator who is paid but does not post also receives a strike.
  • A brand that accepts a preview and does not pay the remaining amount is blocked from posting new campaigns. The creator keeps their video.
  • Because the payment to the creator goes directly from the brand, we cannot refund it. If a creator does not deliver or post, tell us and we will record it against them and may remove them from the platform.
  • Advertisers must own or be licensed to use everything they send in a brief, and must comply with the advertising rules that apply in Nigeria, including those for sponsored content. Creators must clearly disclose sponsored posts.

7. Creator payouts and fees

Payments are split by Paystack and settled to the creator’s connected bank account on Paystack’s settlement schedule. Paystack’s processing fee is borne by the creator, and Creative Hub charges a platform fee on sales, and on campaigns the posting deposit is our fee. For product sales the fee comes out of the creator’s share, never on top of what a buyer pays. Creators are responsible for their own taxes on what they earn.

8. What you may not do

  • List content you do not own or have no right to sell, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
  • Sell or promote anything illegal, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, deceptive, or malicious (including malware).
  • Use the platform to launder money, evade payment rules, or defraud buyers or advertisers.
  • Interfere with the service, probe it for weaknesses without permission, or scrape it at scale.

We may remove content, suspend accounts, and withhold payouts where required to investigate or comply with the law.

9. Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order the claim relates to, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your rights as a consumer under Nigerian law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over disputes, unless mandatory law gives you the right to go elsewhere.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant we will tell creators by email or in the dashboard. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
